On this page you will find the complete problem set of the 1995 contest. It even includes the complete set of test data used during the contest, sample solutions for each problem and comments from the head judge. For completeness, the practice problem set is also provided.

at a contest yourself, solving past problems will help you to improve your
skills in competing at such a contest.

knowing it) and Manuel Bleichenbacher (Head Judge).

The practice problem set was used for the practice session where the
teams could try out the computers, the editors, the compilers and the problem
submission system. In solving one of these problems, you will not learn
much. These problems are easy. Interestingly, there were many submission
that had to be rejected although the teams had seriously tried to solve
them.

The Head Judge's comments on the problem set gives you a good insight into the problems. He will also tell you where the teams had most difficulty in solving the problems. First try to solve the problems, then read these comments.
You can have it all. Just download the compressed
archive file (only 24 kByte), decompress and unarchive it on your local
machine and rebuild the programs and test data. The archive includes at
least one sample solution for every problem, the test input or the programs
used to create it and the original scripts and programs for judging. But
first try to solve the problems yourself!
